Step 2
Connect your wobie box to the Wi-Fi
-
Prepare
1/8It's best to sit near the router, charge the wobie box during setup so it doesn't run out of power, and have the Wi-Fi password ready .
-
Switch On
2/8Press the top center of the rainbow until the wobie box greets you with a "Hi".
-
Open wobie fav and Allow Permissions
3/8Open the wobie fav app and allow it access to Bluetooth, your local network, and your location. We explain why this is important here.
-
Recognize wobie box
4/8wobie fav automatically searches for wobie boxes in the network.
To add a wobie box to a new network, tap “+ Add wobie box” → “Set up new wobie box” . -
Detect wobie box – Activate Pairing Mode
5/8The LED in the center of your wobie box must pulse white for the wobie fav app to find it. If not:
- Turn the box over and open the silicone tab on the bottom
- Press the small button for 3–5 seconds
The box is only in Wi-Fi mode when the LED is pulsing white. (Blue = Bluetooth; yellow = microSD mode)
As soon as the app finds your wobie box, it will appear in the list – just tap it.
-
Select & Connect Wi-Fi
6/8The app will then show you available Wi-Fi networks. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
The wobie box now connects to the Wi-Fi network. It confirms this with a "mhm" sound. The white LED then glows steadily.
This isn't working as it should?
-
Name your wobie box
7/8Now you can give it a name.
Oops, did something go wrong?
-
Checking for Update
8/8Finally, the wobie box's firmware will be updated if necessary. This may take a few minutes.

-
Complete!
Now you can assign Spotify playlists to the rainbow keys on your wobie box and get started.
