Safety & Handling Instructions
Before using your wobie box, please read and follow all safety and handling instructions carefully.
Please keep the packaging and these instructions for use, as they contain important information. Ensure that anyone else using the product is first given the necessary instructions. You can easily pass on this safety information. Further details can be found at wobie.de/pages/legal.
The wobie box is an audio device with complex technology and is therefore not designed for rough handling such as spinning, rolling, kicking, or throwing. It is jet-proof (IPX5), but not waterproof. Protect the wobie box from excessive heat. For example, do not place it in direct sunlight or on a heater. Do not take it into the sauna, and ensure it is always adequately ventilated.
WARNING! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Contains small parts – choking hazard.
Parents should supervise their children's use of the wobie box and ensure that the content is age-appropriate. Furthermore, connecting the charger should only be done by adults.
Improper handling may result in fire and electric shock, which could cause injury or death. Use the device only as directed. The wobie box must not be opened or modified. Doing so will void the warranty. Contact wobie Support if necessary.
Care Instructions
Before cleaning, your wobie box must be unplugged from the power supply! A damp or dirty charging cable plug can lead to overheating.
To ensure you enjoy your wobie box for a long time, please note the following instructions:
- Clean the plastic parts and any dirt on the fabric with a soft cloth.
- Do not use excessive moisture, solvents, chlorine-based, or other harsh chemical cleaners.
- Do not leave the wobie box near a heat source for extended periods.
Battery and Charging
Batteries can overheat or catch fire. To avoid risks such as overheating, short circuits, or damage, do not open or modify the wobie box or its battery. The battery is not replaceable. Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Further information can be found in the "Disposal" chapter.
To charge the wobie box, use the included charging cable or an EU-compliant charging cable. Regularly check the cable for damage, as well as any other charging devices. The wobie box contains a 7.4 V 2200 mAh battery.
A power adapter is not included. The charger must have a power output between 7.5 W (minimum requirement) and 10 W (maximum charging speed). Fast charging via USB-PD is supported. Use only power adapters that comply with applicable safety standards (e.g., EN 62368-1).
Information on Radio Frequencies and Connectivity
* The wobie box and your smartphone/tablet must be on the same 2.4 GHz network for setup.

Disposal
This product and its battery must be disposed of in accordance with legal regulations at an official collection point—not with household waste. This helps recycle valuable resources and protects the environment. You are responsible for deleting your personal data before disposal. Please observe the relevant national disposal regulations.
