wobie box on the go: Connecting to (semi-)public Wi-Fi networks
Unfortunately, the wobie box cannot connect to (semi-)public Wi-Fi networks that use a portal page for login , as is often the case in hotels or corporate networks. These so-called "captive portals" require the entry of user data (e.g., user name, access code, or confirmation of terms and conditions) to establish a connection.
In such cases, a connection to the wobie box is only possible if the IT administrator manually authorizes the device. However, for security reasons, this is usually not offered in hotels or public networks.
If you are on the go and want to use the wobie box, we recommend connecting to a private or open Wi-Fi network that does not require captive portals.
