My wobie box is messing up the sauce and isn't working properly. What now?

Are you having problems with your wobie box and is it behaving unexpectedly? Don't worry! Often, resetting the wobie box to its factory settings helps. You can do this either via the wobie fav app or directly on the wobie box itself. In this guide, we'll show you both ways to get the wobie box working again.
1. Reset factory settings in the wobie fav app
Step-by-step instructions:

Update the wobie fav app:
Make sure you have the latest version of the wobie fav app installed. -
Turn on the wobie box.
Make sure the wobie box is turned on and ready to connect. -
Open the wobie fav app:
Start the app and wait until the wobie box appears in the app. -
Access to settings:
Tap the icon with the two lines in the top right corner to open the settings. -
Select the wobie box:
Tap the large wobie box icon in the middle of the app. -
Restore factory settings:
Swipe down and select the “Restore factory settings” option. -
Restore Wi-Fi connection:
Reconnect the wobie box to your Wi-Fi network. Turning off the wobie box and restarting the app first may help. Restarting your phone may also be helpful. -
Check firmware version:
Go to the “wobie box details” section and check if the latest firmware version is installed. -
Reassign rainbow keys:
If necessary, you can reassign the rainbow keys after the reset.
2. Reset factory settings directly on the wobie box

Turn on the wobie box:
Make sure that the LED on the wobie box is white – this means it is in Wi-Fi mode. -
Open the silicone tab:
Turn the wobie box over and open the silicone tab under which the connections are located. -
Press the reset button:
Press the button that you use to switch between connection types for 10 seconds. -
Restore Wi-Fi connection:
Reconnect the wobie box to your Wi-Fi network. Restarting the wobie box and the app can help stabilize the connection. Restarting your phone can also be helpful. -
Check firmware version:
Check the “wobie box details” to see if the latest firmware version is installed. -
Reassign rainbow keys:
Don't forget to remap the rainbow keys after the reset.
3. Hardware reset of the wobie box
If a software reset doesn't work, you can perform a hardware reset. This often helps with issues like battery failure or music stuttering. Here's how it works:

Turn on the wobie box:
Make sure the LED lights up white (Wi-Fi mode). -
Open the silicone flap:
On the bottom of the wobie box, you'll find the silicone flap. Open it to access the reset button. -
Reset the reset button:
Use a thin, blunt object (e.g. a SIM card needle) to press the reset button for about 30 seconds. -
Reinstall:
After resetting, turn the wobie box back on and set it up again.
