Offline music on the wobie box – save MP3 files to microSD

With the wobie box you can play your own MP3 files from a microSD card without an internet connection. Here's how to prepare it.

Save MP3 files to a microSD card

Copy your audio files from a computer onto the microSD card. Full instructions are on our ‘How it works’ page under ‘Listen offline & record’.

Insert the microSD card into the wobie box and select offline mode. Press the button under the wobie box until the LED turns yellow. Your own music is ready to play without Wi-Fi.

For offline listening, you don't need the wobie fav app. The app helps you connect the box to Wi-Fi and assign Spotify content to rainbow buttons for online playback.

Spotify streaming does need Wi-Fi. Spotify files can't be saved to the microSD card; they can only be streamed.
