Do rainbow button assignments stay the same when I switch between Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and offline playback?

Yes. Rainbow button assignments stay in place when you switch between Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and offline playback, even if you use the wobie box on a different Wi-Fi network.
