Hello! It’s great to have you here. We aren’t just the founders of wobie; first and foremost, we’re a team in real life: a married couple, parents, and passionate fans of audio plays.
How "Why not, actually?" turned into the wobie box
The idea for the wobie box came to us on a perfectly normal afternoon in the nursery. Our child reached the age for audiobooks, and suddenly we were faced with the question almost all parents eventually ask: Why should we collect expensive figures or physical media when we already have everything on Spotify?
The content was there, but the right device was missing. We didn't want a box that required us to constantly buy new accessories. We also didn't want to keep handing over our phones or park the little ones in front of a display.
So we asked ourselves: Isn't there an easier way? A box that can handle Spotify but is as easy to use as a toy? Because we couldn't find an answer, we started the journey ourselves. The wobie box has been officially available since 2023—and every day we are happy to see how many nurseries we've been able to make a bit more independent since then.

We pooled our professional experience to create something that truly lasts in everyday family life. Fee used her eye for product development to make the box robust and child's play to operate. Karsten, with his knowledge of sales and fair pricing, ensures that we can remain independent as a small family business.

Sometimes we are asked why the wobie box has its price. The answer is simple: we aren't selling you a subscription model.

- Buy Once, Use Forever: We don't make our money by forcing you to constantly buy new content from us. You simply use your existing Spotify subscription. This makes the wobie box one of the most affordable alternatives to the Toniebox & Co. in the long run, because the high follow-up costs for figures are eliminated
Why You Won't Find Us on Social Media
You probably won't see daily "Insta Stories" from us. We prefer to put our energy directly into the music box and into a customer support team that is still truly human. If something doesn't work out, we are personally on the other end looking for a solution. We believe in quality over a throwaway mentality and take every piece of feedback from our customers seriously.
