The idea came about when our child reached audiobook age and we asked ourselves why we should buy records when we already have all the children's audio books, music and much more on Spotify. So the audio library was there! But what was missing was the right playback device that would allow children to use Spotify independently and without a screen or complicated voice control. So began our journey to develop a box that brings Spotify directly into the children's room!
Our professional experience supports us in this: Fee brings her expertise in product development, while Karsten has a strategic eye for numbers and sales.

We focus on the needs of children and parents alike. Children should be able to enjoy their audiobooks independently, with a clear choice of content - without a screen and without getting lost in a flood of options. As parents, we were looking for a simple solution to use Spotify. We wanted to save money and not buy stories that we already have on Spotify. We also didn't want to give our phone away to listen to and we wanted a box that grows with the children - that still looks cool at the age of 12 and can be in the children's room.
This is how our idea of a colorful and practical solution for everyone was born, which we continue to work on every day with joy, passion and curiosity.
Why is the wobie box so expensive – or as cheap as it is?
Sometimes we hear: 'Man, that's a hefty price for a box like that!' But why can't we offer the wobie box cheaper or give even bigger discounts?
This is because the wobie box works with your Spotify account. Once you have bought it, you can connect it and you can start playing. Unlike other music boxes for children, we don't make money from you buying from us again and again. That's why we can't offer the wobie box at cost price. With us, you pay once for the product. Our prices are calculated fairly so that you get a high-quality product and excellent service. And what's more, after just a short time, the wobie box is cheaper for you than other music boxes with separate sound carriers or additional subscriptions.
